About Your Therapist
Body Reset Therapeutic Massage is the culmination of my 35 years as a professional massage therapist. Throughout my career, my focus has always been that of providing my clients a customized massage experience. Each body has unique needs which are often changing. Today, your neck may crave a gentle touch but your back may need a deeper focus - and this balance may shift from one day to the next. As a result, my work is often a blend of gentle and deep techniques within the same session for optimal effectiveness, relaxation and rejuvenation. I've implemented this approach in providing quality bodywork to my clients with consistent results. I graduated from The Connecticut Center for Massage Therapy in 1990 and I haven't stopped moving since! Over the years I have worked in various settings including chiropractic offices, on-site massage for Duracell's Corporate Headquarters, spas, and both group and private practice.

Services
All sessions are tailored to your needs. Unless asked to specifically use only Swedish techniques, I typically use a combination of Swedish Massage, which is more for relaxation and uses a light-to-moderate pressure to decrease tension in the mind and muscles, and Deep Tissue Massage techniques which are geared more toward pain reduction, chronic issues and injury recovery. We'll discuss what's best for you prior to, and during, your session. All sessions are by appointment only.

From I-84 West, take Exit 10. Turn left at the end of the exit. Travel .5 miles and 30 Church Hill Road will be on your left at the entrance to The Village at Lexington Gardens.​*
From Route 25 north or south, at the flagpole in Newtown, turn onto Church Hill Road. Continue for .4 miles and 30 Church Hill Road will be on your right at the entrance to The Village at Lexington Gardens.*
* The building is accessible through doors at both the front and back. To reach the second floor, you can use the elevator or you can use the stairs.

Service Policies
Payment For Services
Payment for services can be made in advance of your appointment or at the time of your session. Accepted forms of payment are U.S. currency, personal check, credit card and Venmo. I do not accept insurance assignment. If you wish to submit charges to your health insurance for reimbursement, upon your payment for your session, I will provided you with a Statement of Services that you can submit to your insurance provider.

Cancellation and No-Show Policy
Please provide a minimum of 24 hours notice for cancellation or reschedule. Failure to provide adequate advance notice for cancellation, reschedule, or not showing for your appointment, will result in a 50% service fee based on the amount of time of your scheduled session. If a gift certificate was to be used for the session, the gift certificate will be considered redeemed. No refunds will be issued.

I reserve the right to immediately terminate a session at any point if client behavior displays, or I suspect, intoxication from alcohol, use of recreational drugs, other illegal substance, or inappropriate behavior of any kind on the part of the client. No refunds will be issued.
